What you can ask
In your own words, the way you’d ask a friend:
- “We’re in Lisbon for three days — anywhere my friends have been?”
- “Find somewhere for Mum’s birthday. Eight of us, Saturday night, somewhere my friends rate.”
- “What did Sam say about that place in Borough Market?”
- “Plan Saturday — lunch near the gallery, then dinner somewhere good.”

Paste it into your AI app
Open its settings and look for Connectors, Apps, or Integrations — the section where you add other services. Choose to add one, and paste the link in.

Sign in and tap Allow
A Foodie Banter page opens in your browser. Sign in the way you always do — with Apple, Google, or your email — then tap Allow.
It signs you into the same account you use in the app, so your AI sees your friends and nobody else’s.
Signed up with Apple and never knew which email you used? It doesn’t matter — tap Sign in with Apple and it finds you.
That’s it — ask away, and it uses your friends’ reviews. You only do this once per AI app, and your phone isn’t needed for any of it.
These apps move their menus around constantly, so if you can’t find where to paste the link, email us and we’ll walk you through it. Genuinely — that’s not a brush-off, it should be this easy and we want to know when it isn’t.
What it can and can’t see
- Exactly what you see. Reviews from the friends you already trust — no more. It can’t see strangers’ reviews, because nobody can.
- Only when you ask. It looks things up to answer your question. It isn’t sitting there reading your feed.
- It can’t change anything. It can’t post a review as you, add or remove friends, or touch your account. It only reads.
- You can stop it any time. Disconnect it in your AI app, or from your Foodie Banter profile, and it loses access immediately.
